I really got stuck here and I need some help:
Got a Geforce 2MX-200 32Mb (Palit Daytona) for my old computer and installed Detonator 23.11 drivers. After I´ve hacked Coolbits in the registry, the clock speeds successibly becomes availible. Now for the weird part:
The processor slider looks normal, spanning from 0 up to 220 MHz, but the MEMORY slider (which I´m interested in), spans from 0 up to only 100 MHz!?!?! And the default setting is 166Mhz! What´s up with this, please tell me anyone!
Thanks,

well, that is majorly weird... Why not just try NVmax? Rivatuner?

Thanks, this forum seems by far the best I´ve come across:-)
Well, this problem really is strange, perhaps I should get NVMax or Rivatuner and try again.....but I´m starting to think I´ve bought a bull**** card.....

this can´t be some form of o/c lock, can it?

I have a GF2 MX- 200 card too....... but i dont have any problems overclocking it...... Without any extra cooling i can get it up to 205/180 Mhz using NVmax....... And it's running stable...
So.... try NVmax cuz it's really good!

Yeah, just try some other graphics card o/c program such as Powerstrip. That is fairly good. The problem is not likely to be your card. Most likely software...
Good Luck! :D

I had the same problem with my mx-200, but I couldn't go past 100 on the memory OR the GPU. I got it to work by trying different drivers, and using "Detonator Destroyer" (www.nvnews.net) to fully remove the drivers, and restarting between each removal and reinstall. The drivers that would work for you, I can't say exactly... It took two completely different drivers to fix this problem on my computer: 21.83's in Windows 2000 and stock drivers in Windows 98. I had the same problem in both OS's! Also, I use the GeForce Tweak Utility to overclock. Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone, problem solved:-) At least I´ve managed to squeeze an extra 13% or so out of my card now, according to 3DMark 2001.....
Not much, I know....but it will do until I get that Ti200!:-)
Cheers

Ditto, that is the one that worked best for my MX 200 card too. I think that the slider might be just posting in half increments maybe? did you try it and see if it made a difference?
