I read somewhere that is was possible to play video games on three different monitors ( Left, Right, Front views). I know the front would probably be using the AGP and the rest would have to be PCI vid cards... right. I think you also have to configure the game somewhere

Also does anybody know any good shooter or racing games that run on Linux?

Let me know

Yup, its very possible but very few games actually support it. The only one I can think of at the moment is flight simulator, but I think theres a few more.

Not sure about the linux....

Anyway, you'd probably get better responses in the Alternative OS or Games forums. FYI in the future.

Few games work. UT for sure cuz I've done that. Q3a I think. CS you can't=\

The only problem is that PCI cards are lacking in power.

Hmm, sounds like a pretty sweet set-up. definately woldn't mind playing some UT like that. But it must cost an arm and a leg for not much return, since so few games use it. But if I had the money, I would probably go for it. Just to say I did!!

it sounds cool. It is like "real" 3D game man.

But I tihnk A much better solution would be a large rounded screen. That showed you a full 180 degree panorama around you! it would be so very sw337! Or a full wall that is a monitor.... hhhhmmmmmmmmmm..... joy!

Dark Illusion: UT on multiple monitors sounds rad. How did you setup UT for multiple monitors? Did you 'clone' the desktop or 'extend it' to the extra monitors? (i am assuming you run windoze)
Did you have to change any settings in UT?
Thanks.

sorry never heard of that UT (Urban Terror). what is it? the name sounds cool. I/We meant Unreal Tournament, a very popular first-person shooter. .

I set UT up on 3 monitors once, I got a whopping 7fps! You gotta put into windowed mode (Software rendering as well), and make the default size the size of your desktop 3072x768 in my case. Then u have to change the viewing angle of your character to like 180 degrees. It looked kinda cool, but i would really have to get some good cards and monitors if i wanted to do that more often.
