Intel Intimidation

I have a Intel Pentium 200MMX CPU. The code for it is SL26J. I put it in a Gigabyte GA-586ATS M/Board and set the jumpers accordingly. I can only get it to run a 166Mhz. I know it's not the processor. Although I wonder. Anyone had any trouble with this processor in this Gigabyte M/Board. Please contact me any help is much appreciated.:mad:

Almost sounds like you have the multiplier jumpers set at 2.5X instead of 3X. Maybe you should double check all the jumper settings again. While you're checking, make sure the FSB is set at 66 MHz too.

check with gigabyte and see if your board supports that CPU

Seems like you set your bios incorrect.

Double check the FSB and multiplier.
