View Full Version : what is "Run a DLL as an App" in ZoneAlarm?
I'm using ZoneAlarm as my firewall together with Win98 SE. In the programs section it shows that a"RUNDLL32.EXE" file is trying to access my network or internet. What the heck is this program anyways?
It's a system file needed by Windows. It's in C:\Windows\System\.
A dll is a sort of "mini-program" needed by other applications in order to work correctly. Depending on what you installed lately that is causing it to try and access the internet, you'll probably want to allow it to.
