do morgan durons come factory unlocked like the high end tbirds did??
are these a decent performer in the 1.1-1.2 ghz range??
:)
Very good question I'm not shure the morgan durons come unlocked but I assume they arent since they are the same as an XP but with 128k cash. Using only fsb overclocking should give you pleanty of overclocking since the durons start at a 100 MHZ FSB. Unlocking the chip would be a good thing since you could lower the multiplier and up the fsb as much as your ram and motherboard can handle. By the way there were morgan durons at 1000 but watch out since some were spitfires. All chips above 1000 are morgans.

yes i thought that they would be locked like all the other durons
i dont think we can relate them to the XP's however as they use a different packaging(organic vs ceramic)
the durons still use a ceramic core
hence i think they come locked
but can still be unlocked easily with a pencil etc.
