cod5 save files help (cod5 wont load old saves)

hey guys need some help, I finished cod5 a while ago, it was ok, I like the ww2 stuff, but I didnt like the guided mode, you know the game keeps telling you where to go and what to do and it doesnt move on unless you follow the yellow brick road. however I do like that extra stage at the end a lot, I enjoy playing it occasionally, made round 11 so far :)
anyway, I had to reinstall windows a few days ago, I saved my profile and saves and even the program files folder, however when I copy the old profile over, cod5 wont load the saves, it acts like they're not there :(
anyone know how to fix this ?
