So my receiver is pretty old and I can't seem to find a universal remote that lists it as being compatible with it. Many of the remotes say they were learn devices, but I'm assuming thats using an existing remote and the universal remote sensing what frequency the old remote is using. Is this correct? I guess my question is: is there some remote that will scan frequencies and then when it works, I can tell it to use that particular one?
Thanks
BTW, my reciever is a Vector Research VRX 6200R
Edit: wasn't really sure where to put this post, but I figured here would be the best
Edit: I could have sworn I checked logitech's site to see if a harmony remote would work already, but I rechecked and it was listed. Maybe they added it since I checked, it was a while ago when I first checked. Anyway, I picked up one of those and it works.
