The first one that comes to my mind is NBA Hangtime. A direct port from the N64 version would be great, that game is perfectly suited for 2v2 multiplayer with voice chat. In addition to the usual characters they could allow players to use their avatar as their player character. I don't even know how many countless hours and hundreds of games of Hangtime I've played on the N64. XBLA needs an arcade basketball game, if they could make a faithful port and do a decent job of it I'd buy it for sure. yes I'm hoping somebody from Microsoft's gaming division sees this post and gets the hint. :p

What games would you guys like to see released for XBLA?

Easy.

Golden Eye.

would be GREAT to play the game online!

but the problem is that the rights to the james bond games are owned by Activision, While The rights to James bond himself is owned by MGM, While RARE, the company that made Golden Eye owns certain rights to the game, Along with nintendo owning other rights to the game as well. Might ass, that RARE is owned by Microsoft.

Currently, Nintendo wants to offer it on their Wii-Ware channel.

About a year back, I heard rumors that Microsoft wanted to put Golden Eye on LIVE, and has pretty much everyone's blessings, except for Nintendo. Whether this is true or not, I have no idea. But I wouldn't doubt it. And If nintendo get's everyone's blessings, I doubt Microsoft will give Nintendo the "OK" either.

Personally, I'd rather see Golden Eye on live. As I don't see Nintendo making the game online multiplayer. And we all know there's no chance that Nintendo and Microsoft will give it to Sony. Plus, Nintendo's online network sucks. Sure, It could be worse...But LIVE has it beat hands down.

Either way, Looks like us Golden Eye fans are screwed. I honestly don't see the game being ported anywhere for a long time ( If ever ).

Galaga 90. That game was awesome and doesn't get enough run. I still play it on my TG16 and via emulator.

Popeye - Loved the old arcade game, play it from time to time on emulator

Star Wars, the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi Arcade -man those were some great games. I remember the first vector graphics quarter muncher in the arcades beconing to me with the voice of Sir Alec Guinness "The Force Will be With You Always" or the second and worst of the bunch calling to me with the voice of Harrison Ford "I've got a bad feeling about this......" and the final and best of the three with the voice of Mark Hamill whining "Leia, wait for meeeeeeeeeee".

Initial D - this quartermuncher seems to made for XBLA, they could make a killing off of car and track packs alone.
