I have four of these sticks: http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=BL2KIT12864AA80A

How can I find what chips are on these without removing the heatspreaders?

Not D9. You can tell because the voltage is not 2.1 and they're not dual sided.

You know where I can find a big list of all memory chips for all modules... like manufacturer, process, voltage, speed, etc. specifications? Also for all technologies like flash (SSD), DRAM, SRAM, and GDDR.

Does Crucial (Micron) even use D9 on any of their modules anymore? I thought they stopped using D9 because of the high failure rates. For sure it has been phased out in their ballistix line.

I looked at the modules and they have these specifications written on the heatspreaders:

BL12864AA804.16FD5 CL1118B.BH 97532
BL12864AA804.16FD3 CL11182.TZ 72596

I'm not sure if I can tell what chips are used from these numbers, anyone know?

I've been running them at 2.2v at DDR2-1000 for a while now.

http://ramlist.i4memory.com/ddr2/
has info on quite a number of sticks.
Don't know how updated, though.

Anyway, you have a part number ending in 16FDx, so...
Micron D9GMH (B6-3)
Micron D9GCT (B6-37E) (possible)
Micron D9GKX (B6-25E) (possible)
Micron D9DQW (BT-37E)

What are the best memory chips for GDDR3, GDDR5, DDR3, and DDR2 right now (most overclockable)? Does the overclockability have anything to do with the PCB they are on?

Also who manufactures the SRAM (cache) on CPU, does Intel and AMD do this? Does Intel manufacture the flash memory in their SSDs?
