I'm getting Radeon 8500, and I was thinking, should I OC or not, it's top of the line board, best performance, do I need to OK, or just enjoy original settings 4 now??
What's you opinion on this.
And if I OC, is it BIG difference in performance???

Scooter,

Are you getting an OEM or a retail 8500?

Both are pretty fast cards and the decision to overclock it is totally up to you.

Many Video card manufacturers underclock the cards to begin with, and many include overclocking software in the box basicly saying to the consumer, "Please overclock me".

Only Gigabyte Radeon 8500's are shipped with overclocking software that Im aware of.

Heres my Score:

Thats with CPU @ default and the video card @ 275/275 which is default for a Retail 8500

With the fsb @150 and the card at 300/300 I get just under 8000
