How do i turn off Vertical Sync other then forcing it to off via Nvidia control panel? When set to off in the control panel, it is turned off for all other games, but for some reason, UT99's vsync stays on. This makes it almost unplayable because the mouse has a HUGE sliding effect.

Note im running Windows 7.

Try going to Unreal Tournament\System folder, under Unrealtournament.ini and look for "UseVSync=True" and change it to False.. note this will probably only work if you're using D3D (I personally use OpenGL cause it looks way better :) ). Go UT99!

Edit: I'm an idiot

Well i use D3D8 and even if i add that line to the D3D8 section, it stays on.

Are you using the custom D3D8 renderer v1.4 ? Try adding the line -:
SwapInterval=0
in the appropriate section,if it exists just change the value.

BTW,I second that, OpenGL looks better and plays smoother :)

Can't you just make a game profile in the nvidia control panel? So that vsync is only turned off for that one program?
