I just thought i'd ask as its starting to get to me now.

i'm new to the game and am going through the lessons and i keep getting stuck on certain parts when the instructor is waiting for me to do something or even when hes doing somthing.

like when he's showing me the ascent he told me to check the trim and it took ages for him to acknowledge it. it ended up i had to turn the throttle up a bit as he was always adjusting it whilst maintaining his flying. it doesnt seem right but thats what got him to move on.

now i'm stuck on using the flaps while descending. he asks me to descend to 3000 feet and to set the flaps to 20 degrees. ive done that but the 'set the flaps to 20 degree's' message just stays there on screen and i cant for the life of me find out what im doing wrong :bang head

i might have missed something he said to me as it was late when i was doing it, but it had the 'set flaps' message on screen. i had levelled out at 3000 with flaps set to 20 and sat there for ages, so i tried setting them back to 0 then 10 then 30 but nothing is working for me.

can anyone give me a heads up as to what i'm doing wrong?
is there a button or a log i can look at to see what he's said to me during the lesson?

Is it possible you're just using a Microsoft Product? :)

I usually just listen to what the instructor says, and continue to work toward completeing the objective. Like if im landing, ill just proceed to land. As long as you complete the objective it doesant matter how you do it
