I am currently only using one drive as my system (Windows) drive. I have just bought another disk to set up a RAID 0 array on my nForce 750i mobo. I have just made the switch to 64-bit Vista and really don't want to re-install the OS. So my question is: Can I build my new array without having to install everything from scratch? My SATA RAID is currently disabled in the BIOS until my new disk arrives. I do have Paragon Partition manager 9 as a bootable cd so would I be able to backup my current non-raid disk (Just say to an old PATA HDD) and then restore it to my RAID array. I fear that the paragon software would not see my RAID array due to driver issues. Thanks for any input.

Here's what I'd do in your situation.

I would first install XP32 to the PATA drive on a very minimal partition. Then create a partition to store your backup image on the PATA drive. Use your imaging software from XP32 where the RAID drivers presumably work properly. Then when you get your new drive you can configure your array and test everything out prior to restoring your image to the array. I don't recall ever trying paragon, but this is how I'd use ghost to accomplish what I wished in your situation.
