Im looking for opinions really on wether this block would be enough to cool a clocked Q6600. It will be my first WC setup and I want to keep the chip low enough to get a decent overclock out of it, although the main reason Im going WC is to quiet my PC down really. So far all I have for the loop is a pump and res, pump being a PolarFlo TT (A Laing D4 with a different top) and res is some dual bay thing I picked up cheap.
Any thoughts welcome on this :)

The DTEK Fuzion V1 is a good block. I had one with the nozzle insert on my dual core and it performed great. Kept my idle temps @ 29-31c and loaded temps never went above 40c at 4.2Ghz with 1.32v. This was with a BIX II rad and an MCP600 pump.
I'm sure the fuzion v1 will do just fine for your setup. Be sure to get the nozzle insert for the quad core chip Here (http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=203).
I ran mine with the nozzle and without it. I noticed a decrease in temps by a few degrees with it.

Yeah, it will work fine on any Intel quad. I'm running 1 on my QX9650 @ 4GHz. You will still need to get you a radiator though. I recommend a Swiftech MCR220-QP. I'm using the reservoir version of that radiator on a Q6600 system at 3.6 and it does very well keeping temps in check.
check my post about the phobya water block, the d-tek testing there is done with a quad nozzle, no nozzle, and 3.6mm nozzle so you can see the differences

Nice post Saxile, Ill definitley be getting the nozzle for it after reading that. Now just need a radiator and some tubing. Any opinions on waterchill radiators?
