How long should I leak test before I start using my new water cooling rig? So far 48 hours and dry as a bone:D .

I give stuff 24 hours and assume it works, no leaks so far (about 4 weeks water cooled now). :D

I wouldn't know about leak testing duration, as I don't have a water rig set up yet, but you might want to try unplugging the unit and plugging it in several times to see if anything loosens from the drop in motion of water.

Till your satisfied, 24 at least, 48 sounds good. If your still not sure make it 72. It's your system so whenever your confident here are no leaks.
i was impatient
i waited about 30 minutes

I test mine until that queezy feeling in your stomach turns to a slight case of the butterflys. My brain says "Yo water + elec. = zappo" But who ever listens to their brain ?
In all seriousness though. You do want to turn it on and off a few times. And even let it sit still for a few hours to see if any of the water will leak back down form the tubes and overflow into your resavor at all. After a day of running and about three or four hours of siting idle I'm usualy confident to install it. After that just keep an eye on it every so often to be sure everything is Okie Dokie no zappo :D
i dont even watercool (yet) and im scared for your systems :D
cjiax fear is what you don't want to have when overclocking.
Fear = Heisitation = Screwing Up = Killing Components
You must be confident when mounting something as you don't write exams half-assed you go in and say you have 0 and you need 100 to pass :D
I would test the leak for 72 hours, 96 to be indefinite.

Leak test? I think I did that once a couple of years ago.
Just be thorough with the assembly, cycle it a couple of times to look for static and dynamic leaks and it should not be a problem.
