Too expensive in my opinion. You could buy a small touchscreen, or make one, and rig it up to some cheapo parts for a lot less than that. If you're made of money it would be cool though. It would be fun to try that with Vista voice recognition :)
Edit:
I bet that little thing doesn't have much for wireless options. It would be sweet to get something with mobile 3G so you could use access the internet in the car.

u could try modding a netbook with a touchscreen and putting a 3G modem on it.
Why not try www.mini-box.com and get a proper car pc?

I'd stay away from it. The reseller is confused about distance or where a decimal should go...there is NO WAY that you can find a 16mm keyboard.....they meant 16cm. If they can't get that right what else is listed incorrectly. I would look into the link that aja posted if you want a proper car-pc. What are you looking to do with it? If it's just to hold MP3's and interface with your car's stereo, you might want to look into a netbook instead. You can find netbooks with 120GB+ HD's which should be able to hold more MP3's than you will ever listen to in a year.

i loved having it like that in my G35, but ... then i had a HDD failure :burn:
i recommend finding a SSD notebook pc, if you need to keep valuable info ... while driving , one big speed bump will kill the HDD while its spinning.

can you connect a laptop up to a car?
i want to be able to have monitoring programs...something like what the Nissan GTR has - temps, gauges etc. is there even software for this sort of stuff?

yea , theres a sensor port under the panel of most cars years 94++
they have USB adapters that can read all that info , some are hardwired straight to the PC for real time info , others are inserted then removed and unloaded on the PC

16 mm keyboard... my cellphone is bigger then that :P
Notebook with SSD drive. Put it under the passenger seat... run video and audio to in dash touchscreen.
Good for audio and video :)
Save money, do not get a touch screen and just use a $20 dollar remote for your PC :)
OR if you already have a laptop get a laptop mount. They are not too expensive, my uncle has one is his truck, and police the world over have them too :)
Hmm a tablet PC would work too and take up less room...

what do you mean connect by USB? my dad has a Toyota Corolla. it's about 3-4 years old. where do you think i should look? because hooking a laptop to a car looks SOOOOOO cool :p
and after you do ECU mods...and all that stuff, can you actually monitor those things? like when Bryan is doing the drag race with his Eclipse in Fast and Furious 1

the adapter connects to your cars OBD port , or you can hardwire a different kind to the ECU ... it then feeds through to your USB port ( on PC) lol
usually on toyotas , its either under the steering wheel or under the passenger glove box.
and yes, you can monitor air\fuel ratios , timings, when your car is shifting ( if its an auto) pretty much anything the ECU is controller you can "soft" tune it..
