ati links are now working
9.1 seems to not like my RBE bios edits... My main card works fine when I flash the modded bios but my secondary card will just sit at 680/1050.
They are up now.
Official ATI links.

priv: I had the same prob with my CF setup, second card with modded bios was funky. A reboot fixed it though.
Preliminary results netted no gain in Warhead, and ~1 fps (neglible) in FC2.

Seems that people are complaining because the Hotfix in 8.12 for Multi-Core optimizations failed to make it to the 9.1 Officals.

You mean the hotfix adds something more than just fixing the black screen issues? Hmm intresting, maybe I should of used them.
9.1s yaya..... time to update when I get home.

Getting new drivers is like getting a present each month.
I want to know if they fixed the error 43 issue and not being able to enable Crossfire that the 8.12's had for me and many, many others.
8.12 hotfix ran much better than the 9.1s for me. i "upgraded" back to the hotfix.
I'll try them if UPS ever decides to deliver my 4870, they are so un-predictable.

Straight from ATI.com
Catalyst 8.12 HOTFIX.
* Improves DirectX10 performance in various applications in multi-core CPU systems
* Resolves BSOD issues using dual ATI Radeon HD 4850 in CrossFireX configurations.

Tell me about it, they delayed my package from the egg yesterday due to adverse weather conditions, which was true at 6am, but from 8am onward weather was perfect. They always seem to deliver to me last as well, ****es me off cause I dont get my stuff till like 7pm at night half the time from UPS.
Fedex is always around noon, and always delievers on schedule.

Welp. Ran Vantage score was the same. I don't know if I notice anything dramatic with these new drivers but never hurts to update your drivers on newer hardware.

Does that mean that 9.1 is basically as prone to the same errors as 8.12 without hotfix was?

Still not working :|
I tested the 4870 in another rig and it's working fine.

Just a thought, I saw this in yer siggy. Asus Maximus Formula x38 @ Rampage Formula - 701 BIOS
Does that mean that you have a different mobo bios flashed to your mobo? If so, that could be it bro. :(
Yeah, it's the big thing with the Maximus Formula...it's the only thing I haven't tried so far...good idea Krag.

I'm running the same mobo with bios v1004 and have no issues with 4870, actually with 9.1 cat my vantage jumped from 9941 to 10119.
To update my situation, one my sticks of RAM passed away. Took some serious effort to figure out, but no amount of overvolting could bring it back to life.

...off to Buffalo heaven...
I had one croak on me some while back. Buffalo paid shipping both ways and patched it up double quick.
That's what I'm hoping for, I'll know tomorrow. All 4 sticks did 1200 5.5.5.12 with 2.2vDIMM. Installing 9.1's now..!
