Hello, building a new system, and I am starting to see OCZ pc3000 DDR here and there. I was wondering if they are any good. I hate spending good money on junk.

Yes, OCZ is crap. I've owned their PC3000 and it is absolute junk. It wouldn't do over 145 with decent Ram timings. All it is is overclocked PC2100 chips that will supposedly run at 183. It would only hit that speed with CL2.5 with the absolute lowest timings. And with those low timings, even at 183, my Crucial PC2100 @ 160 with CL2 and Turbo timings, killed it in every benchmark. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM OCZ! Go with Kingmax 5ns PC2700, it is the only Ram that contains true 5ns chips and will do amazing speeds.
