hello i need software able to overclock my cpu.
i have softcpu but it not have my motherboard in it where i can have it???
do you know other soft that work great??
my computer is an hp pavillon 6535 (466 Mhz) do you have other trick for overclock it?? no jumper on the M.B. my M.B. is: cognac

SoftFSB is your best bet. The problem is that if you need a patch for your mainboard's PLL-IC, it may be tough to get. There are at least two PLL circuits on a mainboard, make sure that you can ID the one that's for FSB/PCI and the AGP buses.
Software OCing can wreck a mobo if done wrong. Be careful.

Hey,
I am a perfect example (of PC BBQing). :mad:
Fried an Abit BX-6 Rev2 motherboard, and a Soyo VBA133 board.
One of them took out a P3-850 chip too.
No more software overclocks for me. If I can't get the CPU, or motherboard to clock high enough, then it will run where its most happy at.
Some times the best lessons cost the most money.
Not trying to scare you out of trying it. Just letting you know that it can happen.
