Can I and How could I update HDD firmware?

You can update your HDD firmware if you choose to, I believe manufacturer's supply them if they see a known problem only though (ex. 7200.10 3.AAK drives). I got mine as an .ISO format so I just burned it to a CD and booted from it, everything else is on screen prompted.

As for any point to doing so (assuming there is a firmware release for it), I'd do it if there's only a problem really.

Thanks.There's no problem with my hdd so I guess dont need to update firmware.
