Hello, I have an old media center PC with an fx5200 that I would like to use on a new TV we have because of its DVR capabilities. I've updated the drivers to the newest versions, but the only function I can get is switching between the monitors. In other words, windows and Nvidia sees both monitors connected, but I can only use one at a time. I would like to use both, and I'm pretty confident that the fx 5200 supports dual monitors because Nvidia's website says so.

Any suggestions?

how are they connected? do you have a 'Y' cable type deal going into the graphics card, and both monitors coming into there, or are there separate vga/dvi connections on the card that you're using?

(My memory is failing me, I can't remember what my FX5500 had..)

The HDTV is connected to the DVI output (DVI - HDMI cable) and the PC monitor is connected to the VGA output (standard VGA-VGA cable). Both monitors work perfectly well. The drivers autodetect the native res of both upon switching, but like I said I can only use 1 at a time.

EDIT: Does the BIOS version matter? Maybe flashing to a newer version could possibly help.
