SpeedStream 4060 USB DSL Modem

i have a SpeedStream 4060 USB DSL Modem and i want to connect to verizon dsl using it. My dsl connecion is workin, and the modem checks out ok, but how do I connect to the verizon servers using this modem?

is Verizon your isp do you have enternet 300 or other P.P.P.o.E software installed. Does Verizon use P.P.P.o.E or do the use another scheme to connect. You will at least need a userID and password. Also to let you know the 4060 speedstream is a hard modem to TS and it also has trouble with winxp.
