Hi everyone,

I used to play a game when I was young, it was the 90s on a Windows 3.1 computer.

The game consisted of your player side scrolling through levels killing tons of bad guys. The characters were all human. You had guns like rocket launchers.

One of the biggest things I remember is that you could see the arms and legs of the enemies in the air after they exploded when you shot them with rocket launchers. You could access other parts of levels through doors in the background. There were also lots of barrels everywhere that would explode.

Does anyone remember this game, or what what it is called? I have no idea! Thanks!

It sounds to me like "Total Carnage" or it's arcade predecessor "Smash TV"...

Nah Tom, it's a side-scrolling (the action moves to the right, like Mario) shooter. The characters are all pretty tall and slim.

He's talking about NARC.

Rolling Thunder is a similar description... but the bodies just disappeared.

Yeah Rainless it is NARC. I found a Youtube video of the game play and the body parts from explosions look exactly how I remember them. Thanks a ton!

Anyone know if there is a shareware version for the PC? Can't find anything.

You could try finding an image (ROM) of it online and using an emulator. http://coolrom.com
