Is this safe at all. Putting dielectric grease in the socket?

Thanks, I was skeptical at first but I guess it works. Has anyone tried this out?

I'm pretty sure one of my friends who has a peltier on his duron 600@1000 put grease in the socket. It should be fine.
good luck

Hey hooziewhatsit, how big is the city of Klamath Falls? I know a guy that used to live there before moving to Sacramento. He said it was great there.

This is just my $0.02, but here it goes. If I were you I wouldn't do it that way. For one the condensation will most likely drip down on to the AGP and PCI slots like it did in mine. I ended up frying two video cards and two motherboards.
