Radeon 8500 XP 6018s Leaked

This is the 6.13.10.6018 driver dated January 8, 2002 that ATi developers has been playing with for a week or so now.

According to the users who already tried this driver, you can now adjust anisotrpoic filtering within the driver control panel (2X to 16X). Performance is said to be close to that of the 6011 driver.

I just tried that driver,and my system wouldn't even boot into windows. Black screen. I had to go in safe mode and re-load the old one.

I tried the new leaked drivers. There are a lot of new features I would love to play with, but.............there is one feature that will not work. I can't change my refresh rate on my screen. So the old drivers are back in the comp again. I can't wait to see what this card will do when ATI gets the drivers right, or at least sorta right would be fine too.

the performance of the 6011'a and the iq is great. also gotta love the tv-out at 1024x768. although it's kinda useless to me cuz you can't run a dvd with the 6011 in w2k...(don't know about other os) i've found a few other people with the problem too. so i'm back to the 3286's till that get's fixed.

has anyone gotten dvd playback to work with the 6011's?!!!

or has anyone tried the 6018's on w2k?
