Couldn't you just use fdisk then reinstall?

eh, from what i understand, xp doesn't like to reformat too much. microsoft wants to control your computer. i'm thinking you're gonna have to use some 3rd party program to do it for you. hopefully i won't have to reformat once i get XP running on my comp
The bootdisk have everything you need just delete and then hit enter on the unpartitioned space and it should set it up itself...

Whats so bad about it?
Oh and I forgot. WIN XP IS NT KERNAL!
It doesn't use the Win 98 bootdisks it uses its OWN partitioning tool which can be found from Microsoft's site.

Not entirely sure what you're trying to do. Do you want to format and reinstall?

Just tell your computer to boot from the CDROM and WinXP will take you through the partition and format part very easy. It is by far the most simple way to format. Please don't beleice all these conspiracy theries I keep hearing. it is all baloney!!
