112 megs...wow, what ever happened to 20-30 or so mb drivers?
Has anybody tried them yet?
Just wondering if it is worth that huge download.

Nvidia's forceware downloads include a lot more than the hardware drivers these days. They also include the "Nvidia control panel" software package and some Physx stuff.

They are rather large but I find the nvidia control panel rather useful. Seems to make managing screen brightness and connected displays a bit easy than MS's built in tools.

ou_phidelt... are you stalking me? LOL! Either you are following my posts or you just happen to be interested in the exact same threads as me.

Actually, I kinda hope you are stalking me :) Ha! I like your posts and your thoughts. That and you are a fellow laptop user.

I agree that the NV control panel is useful. I like the fact that it becomes an option in the menu when you right click the desktop in Vista. I think it's much less confusing than the "preferences" option that MS has.
