I'm running a 4850 currently, but I have my old 8800GS sitting here, I was wondering if I could put that in my 2nd PCI-E slot and use it to GPU fold along with the 4850, in a separate instance of the program.

What OS are you using?

I believe it's possible but ATI and Nvidia drivers usually don't like each other. I believe your chances of success are better or worse depending on what OS your running. Then again I'm only going off of what I've heard.
Don't worry someone will be along shortly that knows what they are talking about.

yes in XP no on vista

ALthough folding is not a given yes, but you can run both cards in an XP system.

Microsoft crunched down on Driver models in Vista to improve stability, and one of the things that got crunched was heterozygous drivers :(

I think there is a trick to folding on the non primary gpu....

If you manage to get both drivers to co-exist peacefully it shouldn't be a problem. Just use the -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 flags
