My girlfriend has a dell inspirion 3800 with a celeron and anati rage mobility m1 graphics chip. I just reformated it and put xp on it, but I was unable to get good drivers for it. It works fin (windows 2000 drivers), but I can't get the tv out to work. In windows 2000 it had a control panel with tv-out selections. I could choose the monitor as primary/secondary, and the tv as primary/secondary. I don't remember what version of drivers she has though. Any ideas/solutions/links/other stuff/etc.?

The ati website says that the drivers that come with XP are the only ones available... AND that opengl is not supported.... well here (http://support.ati.com/products/pc/rageltpro/winxp/rageltpro_winxp_drivers.html?cboOS=Windows+XP&cboProducts=RAGE+LT+PRO&cmdNext=GO%21) read what it says...;)
Also note that these drivers ARE the ones for that chipset... click on details and it lists supported cards.

Originally when I installed xp the card was found, so I am assuming that the correct drivers off the windws xp cd were installed. They didn't work either. In the screenshots on ati's website (follow the tv-out link) it shows a tv-out control panel. In windows xp the control panel for tv-out isn't there. I also tried to boot up with the tv hooked up. It showed up when windows was logging in, then it went black (on the tv). This is very frusterating. I hope ati plans to release better drivers for xp soon.
