has anyone her ever bought an open box motherboard from newegg
i am thinking of buying an openbox asus rampage extreme

i would like to know what you guys think i should do

None of the Asus open box motherboards I've bought from newegg have come with anything but the board. That said I've never had a DOA open box board from Newegg, and all of them look pretty new.

Yes, keep in mind you won't get any cables/manuals/CD's. Newegg does have a refund policy for open box items if it's DOA.

I bought a Rampage Formula that I've had no operational issues with. Like G.R. and Zimpo said, it'll be bare board only.

I've bought several open box motherboards from the egg. I think I got 1 or 2 open box mobos that came with the accessories which I was lucky. Most of them is just the OEM board only, nothing else.

Oh and it comes in a plain white box.

I've bought 1 open box MB and it had all the accessories inside. You just never know until it arrives.
