I wish you hadn't bought that Kandalf LCS system, icebob. Thermaltake and quality watercooling are mutually exclusive I'm afraid. :( Aluminum rads, pumps that crap out and leak and sub-par waterblocks). You would have been better off buying yourself a Kandalf and then installing a quality loop with Swiftech, D-Tek, XSPC Thermochill or Feser parts.
EDIT: OK, finished reading the last post. You did well to dump that TT stuff, but you really need to dump their aluminum rad too. You can get a Swiftech MCR320-QP for less that $60 with metal barbs and it is a much better rad than anything TT puts out. Best bang/buck rad on the market.
PS: You gotta love the "Engrish" that TT has on the page on the Kandalf LCS. Full tower case with building liquid cooling system I guess that means you can cool a whole building with it, huh? :D

Dude at work willing to give me 50$ for the tt rad so i guess I will order the mcr320-qp . will that hurt if I run the TT rad let's say for a week?

Dude at work willing to give me 50$ for the tt rad so i guess I will order the mcr320-qp . will that hurt if I run the TT rad let's say for a week? The entire TT 'watercooling' system is absolutely horrid. Just remove it from the case and throw it away. Build your own system after that.

No, I don't think it would cause much in the way of problems. But be sure to use the TT antifreeze solution with that rad, just to play it safe. Once you get the new rad in and take your loop down you can flush out the pump, tubing and waterblock.

so if I got ya right no distilled water and pt nuke until I change that rad to the swiftech?

Right. If you have a mixed metal loop you need to run an anticorrosive fluid in it, even for just a week or so IMO. That way you can be sure that you aren't getting galvanic action messing up that nice GTZ.
what kind of a mod are we talking about? I mean changing the rad to a swiftech? Cause I wnt to keep the rad to its original place ( In the front door)

I don't know since I've never seen that case. But it is a 3 fan rad that TT installed in the case, so I would think that the Swifty rad should be able to be mounted in it with minimal problems.

jab-tech is a little cheaper than Petra's for the rad, are they knock off like the yate loon:o(guess being a smart ass here!)
Just got a brain fart here... I have a mini keg dispenser... what about I fit the rad in there (keep my beer at 38F)just curious....

Would I pay $50 for that case? Nope, but that is my opinion.
since I'm on a spending spree.... anything better than tha mcr320?

Ouchn that hurt:cry: can you elaborate...Elaborate on why it is the same case or why I wouldn't buy it? If the latter, click the link in my sig labeled "Mountain mod ascension". I'm picky about my cases.
Wow Dude, That is the frikking case!!!! shoot there's enough room to put a dishwasher in there! But in what way is it make the kandalf not worth 50 buck? I understand what's your goal with that case but it is not an everybody case. Don't get me wrong I really like it and wish Ihave a use for it...

the yate loons from jabtech are not fake, at least that hasn't been proven that they are fake yates. they are lesser quality but not yet been proven to be fake.
i paid 250 for my TT Amour + case and the main reason i wanted it was for the 10 pci slot feature. i wish i spent an extra 50 and went for lain li, or something bitter. the reason i wanted 10 pci slots was for air cooling my old sli setup. i think its a rip off for what you get but i was prepared to pay it.
a fair price to me for the amour would be 150 tops.
but later on i will no doubt switch to a Mountain Mod Ascension also. mmm triple triple rads....
