P5E-V HDMI MB temp at 144 celcius

seriously i don't believe those temps, but could it be a bug in the bios which is the latest version, or a faulty sensor cause i wouldn't even think the PC would boot with that temp
 
your board would be melting at those temps lol

i just think its a bug in the bios, did this happen with the old bios?
 
What's the temp in f? If it's like 255 or 256 then it's proberly a suck sensor, that would be the highest number 8 bits could store.
 
um well i am using Everest, which stops reading the motherboard temp after awhile cause, ai suit is reading it at 144 Celsius, not Fahrenheit, which is when i restart the pc, check the bios, then it says -112 degrees lol, i wish it would make up its mind negative or positive.

and no it didn't do this with the old bios, but as my CPU is an E7400 i cant go back
