Here are my specs: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=514851

I have speedstep enabled (will be disabling it soon) so my normal multiplier is 9 which gives me a speed of 2997 MHz. I have DDR2-PC6400 ram in right now and my motherboard doesn't support DDR3 to my knowledge so i was wondering what's the fastest ram i can get for my current setup? I really appreciate the help, just last summer i built this computer i'm using, my first time doing so, so i'm still quite new to overclocking and numbers and such.

just get a cheap 1066 or 800 Micron , and overclock the sucker ... thats if you have good cooling

more bang for your buck compared to 2x1gb for 135, you can get 2x4 for like 50

My FSB looks to be about 1332 right now. If i got 1066, would i see a large enough performance gain over 800 to justify the purchase?

probally not. lol i barely saw a difference when i went from 800 to 1175

except for more stable and easier overclocks ... thats about it
