As soon as I get into windows and open task manager, GUI.exe is running 50%. Basically one core is maxed out and stays that way unless I terminate the process.

I googled GUI.exe and some said it could be adware and a threat, and then some others claimed they had gigabyte boards also and had this problem.

How do I fix this, and why does this happen?

Thanks.

I think that might be one of the add-on Gigabyte pieces of software - I'll look when I get home. Pretty sure it runs in the background on mine too.

My last reboot it didn't do it... It is most likely their software, but what do I do to fix it... =/

Maybe I'll just disable things in msconfig until I figure out which one it is...
