Question how to connecth the fans.

Hey guys i have some questions.

I have GA-58-Extreme MB with Cosmos S case and Zalman 1000w power supply.

1.
first, i Have SYS_FAN1 / SYS_FAN2 / PWR_FAN / North Bridge Fun.
in my cosmos case i have a top fan, left side fun, and a fun for hardrive bay, so which one am i suppose to connect to ? I tut like:

North Bridge fun = Left FAN
Top fan = SYS_1
Hard drive fan = PWR_FUN.

Does it really metter if i connect the Hard drive fan to mb power or directly from power supply ?

2. Should i connect my geforce 9800gt to power supplu directly, or the mb is enough ?

Welcome to the forums.

The GPU will require power from the PSU as well as the PCIe bus.

The rest of the fans don't matter much. Connect them where it's most convenient.

recommend that you get 1 or more adapters and attempt to connect the fan directly to the PSU.... less strain on the MOBO
