This is my first ever water cooling setup. I wanted to be able to overclock my rig without worrying too much about heat in the summer. The only way to do that in Tucson Arizona is to either crank your AC crazy low or get a water setup. I chose the cheaper solution :p
Specs:
Phenom II 920 2.8GHz @ 3.5GHz
MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX v1.0
G.Skill DDRII 800 4x1GB @ 1000 DDRII
XFX GTX260 Black Edition
Thermaltake 600W Modular PSU
D-Tek Fuzion II CPU water block
D-Tek DB-1 pump
D-Tek 1/2in fittings
Swiftech MCR320-Res radiator
Two Noctua 120mm NF-S12-1200's on radiator
One Noctua 92mm NF-B9 on the bottom
One Antec Tri speed fan on radiator
Scythe 100mm fan custom mounted to cool the memory
Generic Black Case with misc. modifications for aesthetics and air flow

I plan to add the GPU to the loop and shorten the loop as much as possible.
Suggestions?

Looks gorgeous with the white light, grats on finishing it! What kind of GPU block where you aiming for?
Looks nice. Only downside I see is the PSU blowing into the rad. Probably should have gone with a 2x120 rad with that case.
Looks good. I'm liking the Q-Power rad with the built in RES.
Maybe you could put a barrier to deflect the PSU exhaust upwards?
Anyway, sweet looking box!!
Even if the PSU is adding a little bit of extra heat to the airflow it's not that big of a deal, especially considering he is cooling only a cpu with a triple rad.

Yeah I have the same issue. But, the air coming off my PS isn't that hot. Dont really know how much of a difference it makes.
Nice looking rig though! Only thing throwing me off is that one red fan...
It would be nice if our setups could always be optimal, but that's just not the case.

The PSU doesn't really exhaust much heat. I'd say 70% of the heat is trapped within the PSU and maybe the other 30% is exhausted. The fan (only fan) on the PSU is on the underside of the PSU not on the exhaust side. It sucks air from the underside of the PSU and it never really makes it out of the PSU since that is the only fan. It's definitely not effecting my rad's efficiency.

Thanks! I'm not a fan of blue or red or green, etc. Just went with plain white and I think its different and clean. For the GPU block I was planning to go with D-Tek's GFX Fuzion II and the uni-sink heatsink.

I had to use it. I didn't have enough funds to buy more fans so its temporary. Its an eye sore every time I see it. :(

Lol, I definitely know what you mean... I was just curious because that is one of the best looking rigs Ive seen lately. Really like the white theme!

I gotta say that is a pretty nice looking set up.
Those white lights are really making me consider opting out of the window on my current case.
Nice job.

Gotta say, that white LED looks VERY nice. I'd love to see this become a trend, move away from all this colored nonsense.

Like others said, the white light works great, just save up a few bucks and get rid of that one red fan.
Also, looks like the tubing from the pump to rad was measured exactly right and there's no slack to spare. Heh, did ya almost cut that tubing a bit too short? Either way it works w/ no restriction so that was very good measuring.
Great build!

I dont see a Tline or a reservoir, do you fill you loop through your radiator? Im just not that familiar with the res/rads.

I'm glad you guys like the white lighting. I just think it looks nice. You really see all the night detail in a rig when it has blue/green/red lighting. White brings out the details and makes everything look clean. I'm definitely a white light fan. :)

Yep, fills from the res on the rad. Its at the very top. The fill port is on the top left of the res. Works pretty good. Bleeding is eassssy.

Hey batmang, I'm here in Tucson, AZ. Well actually Marana, but I've got a question for you how did you mount your rad to the back of the case? I've got a Cosmos S that I need to mount my 2nd rad to. Hit me up and let me know what you did!!
Thanks

Sup Jason, my fellow Tucsonian! I went to Lowe's and bought 3" 6/32 screws. I then bought some 6/32 washers. I used 4 of the nuts that came with the bag of five 3" 6/32 inch screws as well. I used 1/4" and 1/2" spacers to space out 3/4 inch. Then I used the nut and one washer to create a little more space between the fan and the rad. The key is to have a little less than 1/4 inch of screw left to screw into the rad. You don't want too long of a screw left because you can pierce the rad fins and that would suck. The normal sized screw you get with a rad for the fan's are 6/32 1 and 1/4in screws. If you put one of your screws through a fan you can see how much length you will need once your done making your custom Lowe's rad spacer. If its noticeably longer than the stock screw space it out more. You really don't want to pierce your rad(s). In total it cost me about $6 for the parts.
If you want, I can take some close ups of the screw setup so you can see it better. Let me know.

Looks good, I echo the comments about the white cathodes :) and the black interior of course. Now just sort the red fan and tidy up the wiring a wee tiny bit and it will look that much more badass.

Yeah I'd really love to see a close up of the mounting setup!! I just didn't really have the time to figure of a way to mount the rad. But now thanks to you I can get it done now!!!
Thanks

Sweet thanks for those pictures!! Now I guess I'm going to have to go check out either Lowes or Home Depot, depending upon which one I drive by.

Man, back in the day I used to go to home depot all the time with my grandpa. Swear to god it's like a candy store. But when I moved here to Atlanta their service/product knowledge is awful! I now lovingly call it Homie Depot... Lowes isn't much better either.

The stores on the eastside of Tucson are pretty good about knowledge. I can't say the same for the store by the Tucson Mall though. Place suckkkkkks.

Its funny: I moved from tempe, Az to Atlanta and the 1st thing I noticed was how bad everyone sucks at their jobs here. I take that back, not everyone, but for the most part the service here has been god awful! A lot of people have the attitude that they are doing you a favor simply by doing a half ass job...:bang head
