By the way the idea of the game I've already heard of and played under a different game (Jedi Knight II) and it was a mod obviously. Though newbies get really annoying they just fly around half the time and you can't touch them unless you fire like mad fire LOL :D

Are the files they're giving away licensed? I'd be sure that's not any kind of "warez" before you download it, and I'd especially be sure of that before posting it here!

It strikes me as odd that if you want to put Q3 on your box, then there is a price for the software, yet these people giving away a major enhancement to that privately held product, for free it appears.

No this has nothing to do with warez... Fileplanet.com doesn't host anything of the sort. Yes this stuff is free... because you need Quake 3 before you can play this... if they sold this add on WITH Quake 3... maybe changed it into a stand alone game... then they COULD charge you for it. As it is they didn't buy a license for Quake 3 to put a price tag on their software only to MOD it and share it FREELY with the community.

im a big dbz fan but i dont own quake 3. how much does it cost these days. cant be too expensive. i usually wait till pc games hit the bargin rack. i got duke nukem for $5. :D

I saw it at Walmart for 29 I think... there's also a couple other ones... one with all three quakes and another with Quake 3 Arena and Team Arena... I think they were all the same price... Original Quake 3 might have been 19...:eh?:
