I'm pondering getting the MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OCv2($199 after rebate) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127409) as my current card has treated me well and took a decent OC. Curious what folk's experience has been with overclocking the MSI 260 GTX 216 55nm card? As I understand it the 55nm coolers are smaller since they don't need to be as large with the lower heat output/power consumption which has lead to limited overclocking. Curious if MSI has put a beefier cooler on this card to facilitate their OC of it?

This card has a coupon code to make it $185 shipped, EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130434) but I don't know that this card can OC to the out-of-the-box settings of the card above with the stock cooler.

I have a $200 upgrade buget so I am looking at the 260 core cards.

Appreciate any input. :)

that MSI card should do alot more than 655 on the core.

eVGA all the way!

Will the eVGA overclock further than the MSI with stock cooling without volt modding?

They're both the same, but the eVGA has better warranty and customer service. Also, the eVGA is only $160AR now!
