Seems like there's lots of time being wasted according to the VM SMP log. I can easily add the -nosum flag but can anyone give me some direction on the other time wasters. Thanks everyone.

The -nosum flag would have to be called by the core, not the client, so you can't use it. All the smp WUs report some load imbalance. Out of curiosity, do you have affinity set for the VM? THe one VM I could scroll back on reports far less imbalance than yours on p2675 with affinity set, but the difference could be the WU.

I didn't have the affinity set nor did I have the -forceasm(no idea of what that does) flag either after rereading your guide, I somehow lost that part of the command string.:o:bang head

The WU that I posted was 2669. I'm now working on the second half of an a1 so I'll see if what I did speeded things up or not.

Jeez man, the time per frame went from 19.5 min to 16.2 min., a %20 increase! I will not forget those two things again next time I reboot! Thanks for the help ChasR.

It's affinity, -forceasm does nothing for the SMP client except eliminate some cosmetic errors in info the client posts in the log.
