was thinking that maybe you could change the memory chips for cards like if youhave crappy DDR memory maybe you could buy some nicve ram that is like pc3000 (so it runs faster for o'cing) and cut it off the ram stick and solder it to the board- i know it woudl be hard to physicl dothat but it ocul be done- is there any reaason why this souldnt work?

and could you add memory to you video card also like i have a 32mb rage furypro could i if i wanted to solder memory chpis ontothe iopposite side othe board onti the same pisns asn have it work?

Most video cards use 64 bit memory chips and ddr memory chips for system use is 128 bit.

Video memory tends to be rated much faster than system memory as well. You would be hard pressed to find system memory rated faster than 5-6ns.

then could you do it the opposite direction i youhad soe extra vid card- i dont know why ome ne might have an exorat Ge3 or raedon lying around but could you and t maybe give a preformance increase?
