Well, it depends. If the question was generic, then yes, there are boards that support ECC. From the Gigabyte website (GA-EX38-DS5):
Support for DDR2 1200/1066/800/667MHz, ECC, non ECC memory modules.
And yes, I have this board and I too have ECC memory modules
Bummer, I see mwave is clearing out this board for an attractive price, probably due to Abit closing down their motherboard business. I was hoping that all x38-based motherboards supported ECC ram, oh well.
It would be plain too simple if you could go out and buy a board assuming that the mobo manufacturer has implemented all the features a chipset offers.
