into a parallel supply?
removing the redundant circuitry and connecting the output wires in parallel. The idea is to increase amperage on the +12V line.
As it is, the +12V is only good for up to 15A on a single supply. I plan to use the supply on a modern C2D (single-core 35W Celeron for now and dual-core as need/price decreases) fileserver with 9 HDDs. I will be using a matx board and making use of the onboard video. RAID will be supplies by a Perc6i and NIC will be a standalone Broadcom PCIe1x card.
maybe an alternative is to use both supplies but 1 supply powers the board the 2nd one powers the HDDs?
thanks for the reply/help/suggestions! :)
