5.1 headphones

Alright im kinda curious, i bought some 5.1 headphones off someone here in the classifieds, they haven't came yet, but when I do should I set my settings in the creative audio console and games to 5.1 speakers or headphones? These are the headphones i bought.

Set your settings to 5.1 speakers, otherwise your sound device will only output a few channels instead of all the channels you need for 5.1 sound (center, rear, front, sub, etc).

Incidentally, I have that exact headset. Superb sound, but started falling apart on me within 3 months. A year later and its nearly a jigsaw puzzle.

also you have to set the "sub" up right.... gotta turn on bass redirection and set the crossover freq at ~ 100hz

Otherwise you wont get any sound outta the sub speakers in ur headphones
