need help

need help with updating BIOS

This is my current MB

ASUS MAXIMUS EXTREME LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard

Another 4GB of ram is on its way and from what I understand I need to update my bios before ill be able to use the full 8GB.

Now I have the file from ASUS official site but its saying I need a Floppy disk to do it. I dont have one in the house at all

Is there a way around this or do I just need to order a floppy disk online?

yes there is usb flash drive open your bios send to flash drive go in bios and use easy flash i think the max has that good luck

oh thanks for the info ill look into it more and try it out tonight

just an update I did the flash thing and I think it worked out, thanks for the tip
