What are some recommendations for web design software. The easier the better. Just looking to put a page up with my son's so remote family can view it. I used to have Visual Page, very easy. But since then have trashed the CD it came on, probably an old version of Antivirus.

Suggestions. Remember, easier is better in this case, not looking to win any awards.

Head over to Download.com (www.download.com). They have a section set aside just for web design programs. Some shareware, some completely free. I'm sure you could find a popular free one as everything is rated according to votes.

Notepad is the best you can use...

but anything that says it is WYSIWYG - stay away from MS Front Page or any editor that is not in direct support of WYSIWYG
