x58 vs 780i/790i

how does the x58 do compared to the 780i/790i? in overclocking cpu? in sli benchmarks vs sli on the 780i/790i? is it reallly worth it to upgrade from a 780i to a x58? thx in advance

in all my experience with nvidia's chipsets (had an nforce 4... woe is me...), i'd say the x58 is worth it, for starters the x58 (depending on your board) is compatible with both crossfire and sli, and the core i7's overclock like stink.
