So i got it a few days ago and i really like it so i just i would share my thoughts with you.

Plastic.

Seems to be very nice. Not creaky and dosent feel cheap at all. Has a better feel than the studios. The high gloss black plastic is nice but shows finger prints but cleans up nice with a micro fiber cloth.

Screen.

Small pixles. Looks good veiwing angle could be better but overall its pretty nice.

Keybord.

Very nice. feels very sturdy for those who pound the keys like me. and i have pretty big hands but hitting more than one key at a time hasent been a problem.

Wifi.

Wifi has pretty good range. i would rate it at 8/10.

Battery life.

Tested the battery life. Surfing the web useing wifi i got about 3:45min off the stock battery, Not to bad for a 6 cell.

Preformance.

Not a gameing machine but its pretty fast. The T6400 is pretty nice and the system feels pretty snappy.

Mouse pad.

Very nice. My finger glides on it good and its one of the best i used. The mouse buttons are on the loud side on my laptop. Outhers are not as loud but mine is a little louder. im gonna see if i can make them a little more quiet.

Heat.

Pretty cool compaired to outher laptops. around 28c idle and 55c load before the fan kicks on and brings it down to about 35c.

Webcam.

1.3 mp and works well with face rec. software.

Audio.

Well its a laptop what do you expect?

My componets in my laptop are

T6400 0.925vid "Some have vids at 1.000"
Samsung ram
Travle star hdd.
TS DVD burner

Overall i like it. It lacks some stuff like HDMI ports but i dont have a TV that can use one so i dont mine. But with the lack of ports comes a very nice clean look.

If i have any problems i'll post them here but i had this for a few days now and i really like it.

Pics up,

Also if Fast and Furious tought us anything its that stickers are the best way to increase preformance in anything. So i slaped a Core 2 Quad sticker on the laptop and acordeing to the laws of Fast and Furious its not 100X faster.

My mother-in-law recently got a 14.1" Inspiron and she has been very pleased with it so far. She is Mac person but she needed a PC for work. I thought she would hate it since she is used to the build quality and design of Macs. Surprisingly, she hasn't had any complaints with it so far. Dell has really been working hard to improve their designs and engineering lately, and it shows. I bought an XPS laptop (in sig) about 6 months ago and I absolutely love it.
