I'm searching for a Pci-e soundcard that will work with Vista 64 without issues. Any suggestions welcome. I play games alot and listen to music if that helps. Thanks

ASUS Xonar DX, look no further.

I run one with V64 Ultimate, and I haven't had many issues at all. In fact, I haven't really had any issues with it. Only downside is that it requires a floppy power connector, but they include a MOLEX to floppy adapter in the packaging.

Thanks , are there any that do not require the floppy connector?

There are the X-Fis and Auzetechs, but they have many more Vista issues than the Xonar (talking from experience). For the price, you don't get much better than the DX.

I must also put in a plus for the build quality on the Xonars. They actually have relays on the outputs, as opposed to crappy semi-conductors Creative uses. In audio, relays are far superior to semiconductors, as they prevent audio leakage to 100%.

Currently using X-Fi Prelude with vista64 with no problems, I would suggest
the new X-Fi Forte by Auzentech which is a PCIe interface.
