I was thinking, can I force the memory modules I have to run at cas2 even if they are cas3?

I have one 256 module orginal and one more older 128 non orginal..

can it damage the modules?

Thanks for any help :)

I don't beleive you'd damage them by trying CL2. The worst that should happen is mem related errors, in which case you simply set your timings back. Many CL3 rated mem chips run fine at CL2 and others don't. The Crucial PC2100 I'm using is rated CL2.5 and I've never run it under CL2 :D
