mouse invisible in the witcher

My mouse is invisible, but still there when I'm playing the witcher. If I move it around i will see it highlight things but the cursor is invisible. this made the first part almost impossible. any ideas?

Play the over the shoulder mode :) kidding, mostly. If nothing surfaces here, there is good help to be had at www.thewitcher.com/forum.

But really, the OTS view is awesome if you are use to fps controls at all. I much prefer it to the click-n-move view.

it turned out to be the trails on my mouse in vista. i set my mouse pointer effects and theme back to default, and voila it works great

Where it shows up that the cursor has like 2, 3, 4, or more ghost images trailing the actual cursor itself.

it looks nice but screws up games(only in vista apparently)the option is available under mouse in the control panel, along with diff pointers, sensitivity,etc
